Trending holiday. Tuesday, 1st of February 2022 is Chinese New Year’s holiday.

Chinese New Year’s seems to be the first public holiday of 2022.

Despite the first public holiday was dated on Saturday, the 1st of January 2022: The New Year’s Day.

The New Year’s holiday didn’t feel like an actual holiday because the atmosphere of the holiday where the year’s change still feel as if its still in 2021.

Moreover, the holiday happened on Saturday, which was a weekend.

A month later, another public holiday comes by on Tuesday, 1st of February 2022.

The Chinese New Year’s holiday became trending since the day before because Monday appeared to be a “sandwiched day” between Sunday’s holiday and Tuesday’ Chinese New Year’s holiday.

“How long will your holiday be,” asked @tanyakanrl while sharing an image that has “stories of a sandwiched day” written on it.

Various netizens responding on the tweet, some says 3 days holiday, some says 4 days, some don’t even have holidays.

However for school students, they are already used to long holidays or online school.

Even in Depok and Bogor school have gone back online to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus which cases are reported to be increasing once again.

The confirmed national holidays of 2022 are stated in the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion, The Minister of Manpower, Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform No.963 of 2022.
